Where is Raymund?  Good question.

This is my first blog and it was really difficult just to come up with a name!  I knew I had to make it simple for family to remember but also representing this adventure and/or personal journey I’m about to embark on.

Blogging is intimidating!  I’ve come across thousands of awesome sites and a bit anxious about others reading what I may say.  Oh well, this is intended for those who have asked to follow and more importantly, for me.  I’m really interested to see if there’s change in perspective and/or tone as time passes.

If I’m not on some kind of adventure, I’m planning one.  So I’ve come to a point in my life that the time is right.  I will be leaving a great job with great benefits that I feel I significantly contribute to delivering technologies that make the big machine roll (blah!).

You have exactly one life in which to do everything you’ll ever do.  Act accordingly. – unknown.

Yes, leaving “security” to travel full time for at least 7 mos and maybe up to a year.  I don’t exactly know what will happen afterwards but until then, I will act accordingly.
